Why should I train in the morning.

It will put you in a better mood

Many studies have shown that physical activity stimulates the release of various mood-enhancing hormones, and if you train BJJ early in the morning, it can have a positive impact on everything else you do that day. Work, school, ordinary social interaction: all of them can be improved if you feel better, and you’ll feel better after getting a sweat going through BJJ.

It helps you burn more calories throughout the day

While even experts disagree about when the best times to eat and the best times to work out are, many believe that getting some physical activity (such as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!) early in the day can stimulate your metabolism to keep you burning more calories throughout the day. By starting your day with a light, nutritious meal and a vigorous BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) workout, you are taking steps towards a healthier lifestyle.

 Your Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu will be sharper

Students and training partners of mine with flexible schedules who train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sometimes during the day and sometimes at night have often told me that the daily grind makes it tough to have energy and feel alert in the evenings. If you have a flexible schedule that will allow for it, training during the day can help prevent this fatigue.
